Natural-Looking Botox in Lone Tree, Colorado
Looking Refreshed Shouldn’t Mean Looking Different
At Boost Med Spa & Wellness, Botox isn’t about creating a frozen face. It’s about helping you look like the best version of yourself.
One of the first things almost every patient tells me — before we’ve even talked about a single wrinkle — is, “I don’t want to look frozen.” I smile every time, because that’s exactly what I don’t want either.
What I want is for your husband to say you look good today, not ask what you did. I want your coworkers to think you’ve finally caught up on sleep. I want your friends to wonder if you got away for a few days, not to notice you were in an injector’s chair at all.
That’s what beautiful Botox looks like to me: natural, soft, refreshed, still completely you.
Every Botox treatment begins with a careful facial assessment because no two faces move or age in exactly the same way. I take the time to understand how your muscles move, where your lines are developing, what bothers you, and what you want to look like when we’re finished.
Sometimes Botox is exactly what you need. Other times, I may recommend a different approach — or tell you that I would leave something alone. My priority is always a natural, balanced result that works with your face rather than changing it.
Why Patients Choose Boost Med Spa & Wellness
Boost Med Spa & Wellness is in Lone Tree, Colorado, and I see patients from Castle Pines, Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Parker, Centennial, Greenwood Village, Littleton, and the rest of the south Denver area.
A lot of the women who sit in my chair have already tried Botox somewhere else and left feeling too heavy, too frozen, or rushed through the appointment. Others come because a friend or family member told them, “You have to go to Shannon — mine still looks like me.” Some are trying Botox for the very first time and are nervous about losing their expression altogether.
What they have in common is that they want an injector who slows down, actually looks at how their face moves, and explains the plan before picking up a syringe. Whether this is your first treatment or you’re searching for a new Botox injector in Lone Tree after a result that didn’t sit right, we’ll build the plan around your face, your comfort level, and your goals.
You will never receive a one-size-fits-all treatment plan here.

Before We Even Talk About Botox...
Can I tell you a little secret?
I spend far more time watching your face move than I do injecting it. Seriously.
I’ll ask you to smile. Frown. Squint. Raise your eyebrows. Sometimes I’ll have you purse your lips or clench your jaw.
Why?
Because your muscles tell me everything.
● Which muscles are stronger
● Which side pulls harder
● Where your eyebrows naturally sit
● How your forehead moves
● Where your lines are starting to form
● Which lines bother you most
● How much movement your face needs to keep
Looking at your face while it is still, only tells me part of the story. I need to see what happens when you are talking, smiling, frowning, and being yourself.
That is how I decide which muscles may benefit from treatment, which ones need to stay active, and where Botox could make you feel heavy if we are not careful.
No computer or app can replace that. That comes from nearly two decades of looking at faces — long enough to know that almost no one’s face is perfectly symmetrical, that one side is nearly always stronger than the other, and that you can’t treat a forehead without thinking about what it will do to the eyebrows underneath it. Those are the details that come from experience, not a chart.
What Is Botox?
Botox is a prescription wrinkle relaxer. It temporarily relaxes the muscles that repeatedly fold the skin and create expression lines.
It does not add volume, and it does not fill a wrinkle from underneath the skin. Instead, it softens the movement that keeps creating the line.
The goal is not to stop every expression. The goal is to calm the movements creating the lines you do not like while preserving the expressions that make you look like you.
What Botox Can — and Cannot — Do
When a patient points to a line and asks,” Can Botox fix this?” — my honest answer depends on what’s actually causing it.
Some lines are mainly caused by repeated facial movement. Every time you frown, squint, smile, or lift your eyebrows, the skin folds in the same places. Eventually, those lines can start staying even when your face is relaxed. Botox can soften those movement-related lines and may help keep them from becoming more deeply etched over time.
But Botox cannot fix every concern. If a line is coming from sun damage, thinning skin, volume loss, skin laxity, or a change in texture, Botox may not be the whole answer. You may do better with skincare, microneedling, a chemical peel, Sculptra, Radiesse, filler, or a combination plan.
That’s why I don’t just look at the one wrinkle you’re pointing to. I look at your whole face and tell you honestly what I think will actually help — even when the answer is something other than Botox.

The amount of treatment needed depends on several factors, including the area(s) being treated (such as 11s, forehead, crow’s feet), the strength of your facial muscles, and the depth of your existing lines. A complimentary consultation with our practitioners will help create a personalized plan for you.
-
Most clients describe the sensation as a tiny pinch. The needle used is quite small, goes in smoothly, and the neurotoxin is injected quickly, resulting in minimal pain. Numbing agents are not typically used for this treatment.
-
There is virtually zero downtime with neurotoxin treatments. Often referred to as a “lunchtime procedure,” most patients can return to work or normal activities immediately. Some redness and swelling may occur at the injection sites but usually subside within a few hours. Minor bruising is rare.
-
Results typically last around 3-6 months, depending on the treatment location, your muscle activity, and your body’s response.
-
While Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin® are all neurotoxin injectables used to treat and prevent wrinkles, their chemical compositions slightly differ. Our practitioners will explain the differences and help you choose the best product for your needs.
-
Neurotoxin injections are very common and low-risk procedures. The most reported side effects include headaches, minor bruising, and swelling at the injection site, although these are rare. Your nurse injector will cover all potential risks before treatment.
